September 2008 | A newly developed spectroscopic measurement method has made it possible for the first time to perform a non-invasive, quantitative measurement of oxygen saturation in blood and tissue.

The haemospect® mobile hand-held device makes life much easier for medical staff and the babies and parents concerned, particularly in the areas of premature babies and emergency medicine.

The innovative technology was given an appealing design, a color system for follow-up products was created right from the start and the implementation into a robust, easy-to-use system was realized together with the interdisciplinary development team.
