Outdoor-ready, rugged and easy to clean - the Fressnapf GPS Tracker can take a beating!

Outdoor-ready, rugged and easy to clean - the Fressnapf GPS Tracker can take a beating!

Even if office dog Mylo would never dive 1 meter deep – he could! Because a requirement for the FRESSNAPF tracker, and thus a challenge for our designers, was to design the casing to be waterproof up to 1 meter water depth. The device can be paired with an app and displays data on the dog's location, activity, and health.

The initial phase of the project with the FRESSNAPF team focused on the tracker's attachment. Previously, there was no effective solution for flexibly attaching the tracker to both collars and harnesses. Using a hook-and-loop fastener and a metal clasp, we developed a cost-effective and easy-to-clean solution that can be attached to any collar or harness without tools. We were able to test the prototypes directly in the office: office dog Mylo stoically endured it. The battery can be conveniently charged wirelessly by simply placing the charging puck on the tracker.

Thus, nothing stands in the way of a walk in nature. Spring can arrive – the four-legged friend is prepared for all eventualities!

bite away neo successfully launched

Small, but mighty…

With the first rays of sun and warmer temperatures, the bothersome bloodsuckers emerge from their hiding places. The thermal sting healer from bite away provides relief from itchy insect bites. The enhanced bite away neo literally shines in a new light: an LED light ring highlights the treatment area. This allows the sting healer to be used effortlessly even at night.

Two into one: Initially, the Wild team had two distinct designs, from which the final design emerged through a rapid project iteration. For the bite away neo, the two small buttons of its predecessor merge into a single ergonomic button, centrally divided for the thermal impulse. This new, dynamic design simplifies operation and the selection of treatment times (three or five seconds). Furthermore, the injection-molded button and plastic casing are waterproof, allowing the bite away neo to be used without issue at the beach or in public swimming pools.
