Spindiag Rhonda was also awarded twice
The Point of Care test system wins a Red Dot and an iF Design Award in the category Medicine/Health! The mobile POC device of the successful Freiburg-based startup detects a variety of bacterial and viral pathogens - including SARS-CoV-2. Even away from the pandemic, rapid tests are becoming more important; for example, due to multi-resistant germs in hospitals. In order to be successfully integrated into clinical processes, high demands were placed on the product and interface design. With Spindiag Rhonda, test results are available within 30-40 minutes. Double red dot for Clinomic Mona
Our successful collaboration with Clinomic in the second half of 2020 can best be compared to a sprint: 'Mona' scored points and received two Red Dots at once! The jury was convinced by the functional product design and the modern technology: The assistant supports doctors and nursing staff by means of artificial intelligence - directly at the intensive care bed. Its strengths: voice input, camera function and intelligent algorithms. The system documents, communicates and collects relevant medical information on one screen. It saves time and decisions can be made in situ. More information on this will be available shortly in a case study.

The DKOU trade fair (German Congress for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery) is one of the largest and most important specialist events for orthopaedics and trauma surgery in Europe. It takes place annually and is aimed at specialists from medicine, research, nursing, physiotherapy and the medical technology industry.

Design goes East - Magdeburg, here we come!
Shortly after our merger, we are already looking forward to the next event: Starting in June 2021, we will launch interdisciplinary product design at our newest and first location in Central Germany. The new design office has a lot to offer - and so does Saxony-Anhalt's capital city itself: From culture and education to industry and nature.
