Data protection information for applicants

Thank you for your interest in a position at WILDDESIGN GmbH. If you wish to apply or have already applied, we inform you here about the processing of your personal data from your application at WILDDESIGN GmbH. When we speak of data below, we mean personal data for the sake of simplicity.

Who is responsible for data processing?

Responsible body in terms of data protection law is:
WILDDESIGN GmbH
Wissenschaftspark -- Munscheidstraße 14
45886 Gelsenkirchen

Person responsible:
Markus Wild

Additional information on responsible persons can also be found in the imprint.

Which of your data do we process? And for what purposes?

We process the data you have sent us for the purpose of your application in order to check your suitability for the position (or for other open positions in our companies) and, if necessary, to carry out the application process. If it is an advertised position, we specify there what data we expect from you. If you send us a speculative application, it is up to you which data you provide us with.

On what legal basis do we process your data?

The legal basis for the processing of your data in this application procedure is primarily Section 26 BDSG (n.F.). There it is regulated that data processing is permitted in connection with the decision on the establishment of an employment relationship.

We could also process data about you insofar as this is necessary for the defense of asserted legal claims against us from the application process. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO. A legitimate interest here could be, for example, the obligation to provide evidence in proceedings under the General Equal Treatment Act (AGG).

How long will your data be stored?

Applicant data is generally deleted 6 months after the respective position has been awarded.

Unsolicited applications are deleted 6 months after review or negative response.

This does not apply to the data of applicants who have given their consent to the further storage of their data in the applicant data pool.

In the case of this data, a check is carried out after two years to determine whether there is a need for further storage. Otherwise, the data is deleted.

If you have been awarded a position (welcome to the team!), the data will go into the personnel files.

To which recipients is the data passed on?

The company management and the personnel manager will review your application and, if necessary, coordinate it professionally with responsible employees. If you apply for a job in the design area, employees from the design area will review your portfolio.

In principle, only persons in the company have access to your data who need it for a proper application process.

Where is the data processed and is there any transfer to a third country?

WILDDESIGN GmbH operates internationally, but we only process applicant data at our locations in Germany. A transfer to a third country is not intended in principle.

An exception is if you send your application to jobs@wilddesign.cn. This will go directly to WILDDESIGN Shanghai Co. Ltd. in China. You decide whether to use this address and contact WILDDESIGN Shanghai Co. Ltd. in China directly.

What rights do you have in connection with the processing?

Within the limits of the law, you have the right to:

  • Information about the personal data we process about you.
  • rectification or erasure or to restriction of processing.
  • Objection to the processing.
  • Revocation if the processing is based on consent. The lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation remains unaffected.
  • Data portability.

In doing so, we comply with the legal requirements, which are set out in particular in Chapter 3 of the GDPR on your rights: dsgvo-gesetz.de/chapter-3/

If you wish to exercise any of your rights against us, we request that you do so in text form (i.e. by e-mail or post). The background to this is that we must also check in your interest whether you are really you.

Necessity of providing personal data

The provision of your data is neither legally nor contractually required, so you are not obliged to provide the data. It's just that without your data it is not possible to conclude an employment contract.

No automated decision making

With us, people make the decisions. There is no automated decision-making.
