2009 | Apostore - Product design for order picking robots
Customizing in the pharmacy
October 2009 | The Apostore 3000 picking system is a highly integrated, compactly designed machine for the fast storage and dispensing of medication packaging. Thanks to its modular design, the size can be individually adapted to customer-specific storage volumes and the space available.
lyFlexibly, functional elements placed in front can also be arranged in a logical grid for storage and retrieval. As in a modern kitchen, the individual modules complement each other to create a brand-loyal and individual appearance.
We used real wood veneer and stainless steel to turn the capital goods into a design object with high design quality.
Design process / design result
Thecollaborative partnership between Apostore and WILDDESIGN made this project a great success. The keywords "customizing and interior" were used to formulate the clear orientation that makes the product extremely attractive for a wide range of customer requirements.
This quality was also honored by winning the if Award 2011 and nominated for the Design Award Germany 2012.
