June 2009 | The Miracor PICSO™ system consists of a cardiac catheter and an easy-to-use control console. It is used as soon as possible after an acute heart attack and builds up artificial blood pressure in the affected heart muscle tissue. The affected tissue can be revitalized by the artificial blood flow.
