2013 | WILDDESIGN and Hemacore team up for Red Dot Award-winning medical design

July 2013 | The Red Dot Design Award, one of the design industry's most prestigious prizes, is awarded each year to designers and manufacturers for outstanding achievements in the field of design. Two weeks ago, WILDDESIGN together with Hemacore had the honor of receiving this year's Red Dot Award for product design in the category of medicine and life science.
Hemacore is a Russian biotech company that came to us for help in developing an exterior for the Thrombodynamics Analyzer T-2, which they created and manufactured. Throbodynamics Analyzer T-2 can be used to optimize simulation of the blood-clotting process and to show how anticoagulants create changes in the haemostatic balance. WILDDESIGN worked in close cooperation with the system developer VelixX GmbH to develop an attractive, contemporary design for the devise using reduced geometric shapes and clean surfaces, putting the innovative analytical process at the center.
WILDDESIGN is honored to have a Red Dot Award and to have continued opportunities to work in the medical design field. As a company devoted to improving global quality of life, working with a company like Hemacore was a fantastic and enriching experience.
