Negative pressure wound therapy

Negative pressure wound therapy
IF Design Award 2017

"The Curasul® NPWT device is used to generate negative pressure to promote wound healing by means of negative pressure wound therapy. The negative pressure generated at the wound leads, among other things, to controlled contraction of the wound edges, active drainage of the wound exudate and promotes the formation of granulation tissue. The Curasul® NPWT device consists of a reusable, disinfectable pump connected to a disposable exudate container. The main focus of the concept is user-friendliness, especially the handling of the canister and the easy-to-use graphical user interface."
