HAVER CPA 2-1 Particle Analysis
Similar to medical technology, purchasing decisions in the area of complex laboratory equipment are increasingly based on parameters such as good design, simple operation and controllable processes. WILDDESIGN has made it its task to meet these requirements in product design and also to develop a contemporary version for already established systems.
Dynamic, digital and detailed
Compared to conventional sieve analysis, Haver & Boecker's dynamic image analysis goes one step further and, in addition to particle size analysis, can also determine the particle shape of the particles and count them at the same time, since EVERY particle in a sample quantity is also measured. CPA (Computerized Particle Analysis) thus sets new standards in particle analysis of free-flowing, dry bulk materials such as silica sand, fertilizers, plastic granules and many more.
Product promise as a form
The device topology is based on the old generation of devices. The designed housing conveys a contemporary impression by borrowing from corporate design elements of future devices. Thanks to a very restrained geometric design, given technical elements such as the funnel do not appear annoying and additive, but integrated.
The materials also contribute to the new look. We worked with two different materials: a simple metal housing has become a material composite of sheet metal and plastic. Necessary adjustments due to new technical requirements during the design draft could be integrated without any problems thanks to the simple and concise form.
Design process in fast forward
Due to the goal-oriented and constructive cooperation, the design was realized in a very fast time frame. Desire and (design) vision of the final product were almost congruent and so it took only 3 months until the realizable product. The HAVER CPA 2-1 is a good example of product development that was characterized by mutual understanding and decision-making. The end result is a convincing product that lives up to Haver und Boecker's brand promise and clearly points to the future.
