Compared to conventional sieve analysis, Haver & Boecker's dynamic image analysis goes one step further and, in addition to particle size analysis, can also determine the particle shape of the particles and count them at the same time, since EVERY particle in a sample quantity is also measured. CPA (Computerized Particle Analysis) thus sets new standards in particle analysis of free-flowing, dry bulk materials such as silica sand, fertilizers, plastic granules and many more.

Product promise as a form

The device topology is based on the old generation of devices. The designed housing conveys a contemporary impression by borrowing from corporate design elements of future devices. Thanks to a very restrained geometric design, given technical elements such as the funnel do not appear annoying and additive, but integrated.

The materials also contribute to the new appearance. We worked with two different materials: a simple metal casing has evolved into a composite of sheet metal and plastic. Necessary adjustments due to new technical requirements during the design draft were seamlessly integrated thanks to the simple and concise form.

Design process in fast forward

Through targeted and constructive collaboration, the design was realized within a very short timeframe. The desired outcome and the (design) vision for the final product were almost identical, and thus it took only 3 months to achieve a marketable product. The HAVER CPA 2-1 is an excellent example of product development characterized by mutual understanding and decisive action. The result is a compelling product that lives up to Haver and Boecker's brand promise and clearly points towards the future.
